The winners of the inaugural Truck Efficiency Run, held on 10 July and powered by KRONE, were announced at a Truck Symposium held at the renowned Nürburgring motor racing track.

The Truck Efficiency Run, a new feature of the Truck Grand Prix 2025, was held in conjunction with the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) and was an open competition for truck drivers, where the most efficient and professional driving style—not speed or horsepower—was the deciding factor.

The aim of the competition was not only to raise awareness of fuel-efficient driving, but also to emphasise the driver as the most important criterion. It focused on key factors such as fuel consumption, correct braking, and tyre pressure—regardless of vehicle brand or technology.
