Technical Field
The utility model relates to the technical field of harvesting machinery, in particular to a steering axle assembly for a large corn harvester.
Background Art
At present, the steering axles used in large corn harvesters produced domestically tend to encounter high steering resistance and unstable steering performance when operating in environments with high ridges and soft soil conditions. This seriously affects the overall stability and safety of the machine.
Moreover, conventional steering assemblies are generally formed by welding multiple components together. Under harsh working conditions, they are prone to fracture, thereby reducing service life and reliability.
Summary of the Invention
The purpose of this utility model is to provide a steering axle assembly for a large corn harvester with long service life and high steering stability.
To achieve the above objective, the technical solution adopted is as follows:
The steering axle assembly for a large corn harvester comprises a steering axle frame, steering assemblies, a steering tie rod, and wheel assemblies.
Both ends of the steering axle frame are rotatably connected with the steering assemblies.
Each steering assembly includes a steering arm.
A steering kingpin and a steering wheel shaft are arranged on the steering arm.
The steering kingpin is located in the middle of the steering arm and is rotatably connected to one end of the steering axle frame.
The steering wheel shaft is fixedly connected to the wheel assembly on the outer side of the steering arm.
Both ends of the steering tie rod are respectively fixed to mounting holes at the upper end of the steering arm.
A hydraulic cylinder mounting plate is arranged in the middle of the steering axle frame.
A hydraulic cylinder is arranged on each side of the mounting plate.
The fixed ends of the hydraulic cylinders are connected to the mounting plate, and the movable ends are hinged to the lower ends of the steering arms.
Preferably, the steering arm, steering kingpin, and steering wheel shaft are integrally formed as a single piece.
Beneficial Effects
The steering axle assembly adopts a dual hydraulic cylinder drive, providing strong system stability and ensuring steering stability and safety.
The steering assembly, which integrates the steering arm, steering kingpin, and steering wheel shaft into a single structure, significantly improves service life and reduces the likelihood of damage during operation.

Detailed Description
As shown in Figures 1–2, the steering axle assembly for a large corn harvester includes a steering axle frame (1), steering assemblies (2), a steering tie rod (3), and wheel assemblies (4).
Both ends of the steering axle frame (1) are rotatably connected to the steering assemblies (2). Each steering assembly (2) includes a steering arm (21), on which a steering kingpin (22) and a steering wheel shaft (23) are arranged.
The steering kingpin (22) is located in the middle of the steering arm (21) and is rotatably connected to one end of the steering axle frame (1). The steering wheel shaft (23) is fixedly connected to the wheel assembly (4) on the outer side of the steering arm (21).
Both ends of the steering tie rod (3) are fixed to mounting holes at the upper end of the steering arm (21). A hydraulic cylinder mounting plate (5) is arranged in the middle of the steering axle frame (1), with a hydraulic cylinder (6) provided on each side.
The fixed ends of the hydraulic cylinders (6) are connected to the mounting plate (5), while the movable ends are hinged to the lower ends of the steering arms (21).
Preferably, the steering arm (21), steering kingpin (22), and steering wheel shaft (23) are integrally formed.
The steering axle assembly adopts dual hydraulic cylinders (6) for actuation, ensuring high system stability and reliable steering performance. The integrated structure enhances durability and reduces the risk of damage during steering operations.
Except for the technical features described above, all other features belong to the prior art known to those skilled in the field.
