Technical Field

This utility model relates to the field of automotive components, and more specifically to an air suspension device.

Background Technology

Air suspension is a suspension system that uses air springs instead of traditional leaf springs. Due to its advantages such as light weight, smooth ride, and adjustable height, air suspension is widely used in large buses and trailers.

However, due to installation methods or the height of the vehicle frame, the adjustment range of the air spring (load-bearing airbag) is often limited, failing to fully meet user requirements. Additionally, when the lifting airbag leaks or fails for other reasons, the lifting function cannot be realized, causing inconvenience and operational issues.

Summary of the Invention

To address the above technical problems, this utility model provides an air suspension device with a simple structure, strong practicality, and significantly improved functionality to meet user requirements.

Technical Solution

The air suspension device comprises:
a front bracket, a lifting frame, a shock absorber, a guiding leaf spring, an upper leaf spring seat, a lower leaf spring seat, an air spring pressing plate, U-bolts, load-bearing airbags, and a vehicle frame.

Key features include:

The front bracket is mounted on the vehicle frame, with reinforcing ribs arranged at its upper end.

A side ear plate is arranged on the left side of the front bracket.

A lifting frame is arranged below the front bracket.

A first lifting airbag is arranged on the left side of the lifting frame and connected to the side ear plate.

A second lifting airbag is arranged on the right side of the lifting frame and connected to the guiding leaf spring.

The left end of the guiding leaf spring is mounted on the front bracket.

An auxiliary damping mechanism is arranged on the guiding leaf spring.

An elastic rod is arranged in the middle of the guiding leaf spring.

An air spring pressing plate is arranged above the middle section of the guiding leaf spring.

Paired U-bolts are clamped on the pressing plate, passing through the upper and lower leaf spring seats.

The upper leaf spring seat is arranged below the guiding leaf spring and connected to the axle.

The lower leaf spring seat is arranged below the axle, with nuts fastening the U-bolts.

The right end of the guiding leaf spring is formed as an L-shaped structure.

A load-bearing airbag is arranged at the right end of the guiding leaf spring, with its upper end fixed to the vehicle frame.

Further Improvements

One end of the shock absorber is connected to the front bracket, and the other end is connected to the axle.

The first lifting airbag consists of two independent single-convoluted airbags.

The second lifting airbag consists of one independent single-convoluted airbag.

The load-bearing airbag consists of five independent single-convoluted airbags.

A pressure sensor is arranged inside the elastic rod to transmit deformation signals to the vehicle controller.

The auxiliary damping mechanism includes a pull rod and a support seat, with the pull rod hingedly connected to the support seat and the front bracket.

Advantages

The combination of lifting airbag I and II significantly increases the adjustment range.

The second lifting airbag serves as a backup, ensuring reliable lifting functionality.

Reinforcing ribs enhance the structural strength and reliability of the front bracket.

The auxiliary damping mechanism improves ride stability by absorbing impacts between the axle and frame.

The elastic rod and pressure sensor allow real-time monitoring of lifting height, improving system reliability.

Detailed Description & Working Principle

The reinforcing ribs on the front bracket enhance its strength and ensure a reliable connection with the vehicle frame.

The lifting airbags and load-bearing airbags are composed of independent single-convoluted airbags. If one airbag leaks, the system can still function normally, improving reliability. The lifting airbag can also share part of the load borne by the load-bearing airbag.

When the axle is lifted, the elastic rod deforms, and the internal pressure sensor transmits deformation data to the vehicle controller, allowing users to monitor the lifting height in real time.

The auxiliary damping mechanism helps absorb shocks between the axle and frame, improving ride comfort.

During operation:

The load-bearing airbag is deflated.

The first lifting airbag is inflated, pushing down the left side of the lifting frame.

This causes the right side of the lifting frame to rise, lifting the guiding leaf spring and thereby raising the axle.

The L-shaped structure of the guiding leaf spring increases the adjustment range of the load-bearing airbag.

The second lifting airbag acts as a backup. If one unit of the first lifting airbag fails, the second lifting airbag can still ensure proper lifting. When both are functioning, the adjustment range is further increased, meeting diverse operational requirements.
