Shandong Aluminum Industry Association Vice President and Secretary-General, along with relevant leaders from Binzhou High-tech Zone and Shandong Weiqiao Group, visited the company

On November 2, 2023, to further promote business cooperation, leaders including the Vice President and Secretary-General of the Shandong Aluminum Industry Association, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Binzhou Aluminum Industry Association, as well as officials from the Binzhou High-tech Zone and representatives from Shandong Weiqiao Group visited Zonxin for inspection and exchange. Zonxin's Chairman, Jing Zhenhua, and General Manager, Zhang Jian, received and participated in the exchange activities.The visiting leaders primarily toured Zonxin's production workshops for steel casting, suspension, axle assembly, and machining, gaining a detailed understanding of the production process, product quality control, and lightweight design of products. They particularly appreciated and affirmed the company's lightweight design using aluminum alloy materials for semi-trailer components.

Subsequently, a discussion was held in the company's conference room on aluminum alloy-related issues discussed earlier. Chairman Jing Zhenhua welcomed the leaders' visit and elaborated on the company's current lightweighting process for its main products and the application of aluminum alloy materials in semi-trailer components and bodies. Zonxin Machinery has successfully applied aluminum alloy hubs to trailer axles and plans to expand the use of aluminum alloy in more semi-trailer components and bodies. It is believed that the extensive application of aluminum alloy in semi-trailers will bring good news to the semi-trailer industry, with the potential to reduce the unladen weight of semi-trailers by 1 ton to 1.3 tons while increasing the customer's payload weight within the limits of regulations, thus increasing the customer's vehicle income.

Vice President of the Provincial Aluminum Industry Association, Zhao Qianfang, and Deputy Director Wu Xuebin highly praised Zonxin's production, management, and culture, and expressed their recognition and affirmation of the use of aluminum alloy in semi-trailer components and bodies. They believed that Zonxin's deep involvement in semi-trailer components would promote the positive development of the semi-trailer industry and make significant contributions to technological progress in transportation. President Zhao stated that Weiqiao Group would strongly support Zonxin's application of aluminum alloy materials in semi-trailers and actively participate in early-stage technical docking, overcoming bottlenecks, and controlling product development directions.

Deputy Director Wu Xuebin stated that the High-tech Zone attaches great importance to the cooperation and docking between Weiqiao Group and Zonxin, and will actively provide support and services to both companies in relevant areas.

Next, Zonxin and Weiqiao Group will continue to collaborate on the performance parameters of new aluminum alloy materials, striving to significantly improve the mechanical properties of aluminum alloy materials and ensure their application in the semi-trailer industry, contributing jointly to the development of the semi-trailer industry.
